Singular Confusion is a Baltimore based band featuring a wide variety of classic rock covers stemming from the 1960's through present day. Formed in 2014, the 5-piece band has become a fan favorite at various summer venues, while bringing the fun and keeping it rockin' all night long!
Comprised of Jerry Prince (keyboards and vocals); David Prince (bass guitar and vocals); Mark Prince (drums and vocals); Karl Minacapelli (lead guitar) and Scott Sivakoff (guitar and vocals), Singular Confusion brings over 100 combined years of musical experience (but please don't try to make them feel old).
Their catalogue ranges from Eric Clapton, The Beatles, and Redbone all the way to Spin Doctors. If the venue has strong summer vibes, they will also bring the Jimmy Buffet and Zach Brown Band covers to match the margaritas.
It would be silly to go to a band website and not listen to the band. Get a sample of Singular Confusion right here:

Scott has been playing music since the early 90's. He has performed in concerts throughout the U.S. and internationally both as a solo act and with fellow musicians. Heavily influenced by the music of Harry Chapin, he also counts John Hiatt, Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Buffett, Southside Johnny, Jim Croce, Simon and Garfunkel, Bon Jovi, John McCutcheon and others as well. He has released 2 CD's of original music and is excited to be continuing to share making music with Singular Confusion.
Lead Guitar (and a pinch of vocals)
Music runs in the family -- his dad, uncle and older brother all played guitar so it seemed only natural for Karl to play as well. He's been playing in bands since the 70's and joined Singular Confusion in 2014 as a temporary fill-in which turned into a permanent roll that same year. Karl's influences are many and include guys like: David Gilmore, Gary Richrath, Ted Nugent, Alex Lifeson, Ritchie Blackmore and Joe Walsh, but he's also a sucker for a poppy chord progression with a great hook and melody. Like most musicians, playing puts him is his happy space but seeing the audience get into the music is really what he finds gratifying and is the ultimate goal of every gig.
Keys and Vocals
Jerry grew up in Connecticut and began playing piano when he was 9 years old. After four years of classical piano lessons he quit taking lessons and started playing rock music in a series of rock groups that played in various high schools and private parties and then later in bars and dance halls around the Connecticut and Rhode Island area. His rock keyboard influences include Jon Lord, Rick Wakemen, Gregg Rolie, Elton John, Steve Winwood, and Chuck Leavell. After a break to establish a career and start a family, Jerry began playing again with different bands in the Baltimore area. He enjoys playing keyboards on classic rock songs from a variety of artists, especially those songs featuring piano or organ, and singing backup vocals.
Bass and Vocals
David Prince, twin brother of Mark and son of Jerry, is the bass player for Singular Confusion. He has been playing music for 15 years and writing music for 12. He knows he's too loud, and frankly, he's fine with it. You can listen to some of his solo work at http://davidsmusic.cool.
Drums and Vocals
Mark Prince has been playing drums for 15 years. An extremely qualified drummer, he also made the cut as being related to both the bass player and keyboardist. He loves to play classic rock and lay down cowbell wherever it does and doesn't belong! Inspired by John Bohnam of Led Zeppelin, Phil Collins, and by JK Simmons in "Whiplash", he also sings all the high parts in every harmony while adding in some low-end vocals as well.
